At 5:21 local time on 24 September, the unit of Morocco Jerada O&M Project was successfully connected to the grid at once after the unit overhaul. After completing all the established test items, it entered 350MW full-load operation at 19:35 on the same day, marking the successful end of the overhaul of the unit of the Morocco Jerada O&M Project, which was completed 2 days earlier than the expected date.

This overhaul is the first overhaul in the five years since the unit was put into operation. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the overhaul work, the project planned systematically and deployed carefully, organised the professionals of the production department to conduct a comprehensive technical analysis of the operating status of the unit and conducted discussions, and formulated a total of 737 items of standard overhaul items, 1 item of technical reform items and 17 items of items added in the overhaul. The project focused on the main line of overhaul projects and formulated the optimal start-up plan and work programme after repeated refinement. During the construction period of the overhaul, all the overhaul personnel strictly abide by the company’s quality management standards and requirements, strengthen process control, pay close attention to the quality of the overhaul, and make every effort to ensure that the overhaul objectives and tasks are completed on schedule.

Since the start of overhaul on August 1, with the joint efforts of all the staff of the project, various professions have completed the comprehensive disassembly and inspection of the turbine-generator set, anti-wear and anti-explosion and burner inspection of the heating surface in the furnace, DCS system software upgrading and defects processing, generator gas-tightness test, boiler power field and hydraulic test, etc.. This process involves the operation of major systems, major preventive maintenance projects, major logic optimisation and modification, and important electrical equipment test, and meanwhile, it has carried out the optimised and adjusted work of the secondary wind system and the large and small air-cooling island automation, which lays a solid foundation for the subsequent safe and stable operation of the unit for the long period of time.

In the next step, Morocco Jerada O&M Project will be guided by the spirit of the company’s mid-year work conference, adhere to the "high, strict, detailed, practical" work style. Furthermore, the project will create a good atmosphere for entrepreneurship, and continue to improve the core technical competence of operation and maintenance ability, and unswervingly improve the efficiency of contract fulfillment.
