Qinghai Gonghe CSP O&M Project organised the kick-off meeting of 2023 Autumn Safety Inspection

On September 18, Qinghai Gonghe CSP O&M Project organised the kick-off meeting of 2023 Autumn Safety Inspection, which was attended by the project team, heads of departments and team leaders.

First of all, the meeting disseminated the Notice on Autumn Safety Inspection in 2023 published by the company and broke down the tasks and devising inspection measures step by step. In addition, a central leading group of autumn safety inspection was formed. The meeting emphasised that the safety inspection should be carried out in accordance with the principle of "full coverage, zero tolerance, strict system and practical effect". The project will adopt the methods of data verification, on-site inspection to carry out a comprehensive inspection of the construction site safety. Through rectifying the management loopholes and strengthening the safety hazards, it helps to ensure smooth project operation.

At the end of the meeting, the project leader made key arrangements for the “Autumn Safety Inspection”:

Firstly, the project should focus on the theme of "Autumn Safety Inspection" , combined with the relevant items of "Special Investigation and Rectification of Major Accidents and Hidden Dangers 2023 Action" and "Safety Management Strengthening Year Action". The project will make great efforts to identify safety hazards and rectify the relevant hazards, in order to ensure that this safety inspection can yield tangible results.

Secondly, the project should take the opportunity of this "Autumn" to focus on the implementation of full production safety responsibility system. In combination with the actual circumstances of the project, the project will strengthen the supervision and assessment of the implementation of the system and production safety responsibilities of various departments, in order to enhance safety management of the project.

Thirdly, the project should integrate investigation of potential hazards related to equipment and facilities into the daily safety inspection with a special focus on the potential fire hazards in autumn and winter. This requires the project to carry out special investigation and relevant rectifications and to take stock of electric heating spare parts to ensure fire safety at the construction site during autumn and winter.

Next, Qinghai Gonghe CSP O&M Project will fully implement the production safety initiatives and safety control measures in place, rectify potential dangers promptly, in order to further improve construction site safety, hence safeguarding the stable operation of units.
