On the morning of July 30, Morocco Jerada O&M Project organized the kick-off meeting for unit A repair of 2023 to comprehensively deploy the related work. The production management personnel, safety and environmental protection personnel from the headquarters of the Company, project leaders, maintenance team and department heads attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Technology and Business Department promoted and implemented the overall plan, organizational system, and management requirements for the unit maintenance. The leaders of the maintenance management team, quality supervision and acceptance team, safety and fire supervision team, material supply team, commissioning and start-up team, and comprehensive support team respectively expressed their positions and responsibilities during the maintenance period, stating that they will resolutely win the A repair battle of the unit with a firm attitude and determination. Subsequently, Mr. Yang Chao, the deputy manager of Production Management Department of the company, and Mr. Zhang Peng, the deputy manager of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, respectively proposed requirements for the unit maintenance work from the aspects of maintenance progress management, maintenance quality supervision, and maintenance safety construction.

Mr. Chen Hengwei, the project manager, made a statement and emphasized the requirements for this maintenance work:

The first is to strengthen the sense of responsibility. All maintenance personnel should focus on the implementation plan of the maintenance job, strengthen their sense of responsibility, fulfill their duties, cooperate closely, support each other, and orderly promote the smooth progress of all work.

The second is to ensure safe construction. Due to the large number of maintenance items, wide scope, high risk operations, intensive work intensity, and complex personnel composition, all personnel should recognize the severe situation of maintenance safety, strengthen the concept of "life first, safety first", and ensure the achievement of the zero-accident safety goal.

The third is to ensure the quality of maintenance. All personnel of the project should complete all work diligently in accordance with the quality acceptance requirements to ensure that the maintenance results could withstand the inspection of subsequent operation and production; At the same time, adhere to civilized construction, ensure that the site is clean and tidy, and show the good image of the company.

The fourth is to ensure the progress of maintenance. The maintenance job has multiple and heavy tasks while with short construction period. It is necessary to strictly follow the plan, grasp the main task, achieve overall coordination of safety, quality, and progress, scientifically manage and reasonably allocate, strive to connect to the grid in advance on the premise of ensuring the smooth completion of safety and quality work.

The maintenance is the first A repair of Jerada Project and the first one of the Company’s overseas projects, which is of great significance to the long-term safe and reliable operation of subsequent units. All personnel of the project will further unify their thinking and strictly follow the maintenance plan and safety management requirements during the maintenance period to ensure that no accidents occur during the maintenance period, and to complete the unit maintenance work with high quality, efficiency, and safety.
