Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project Fully Organizes and Carries Out the Work of “Summer Peak”.

Since July of 2023, the Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project has been experiencing continuous high temperatures. In order to further ensure the smooth implementation of power generation during the Summer Peak, the project carefully deployed and prepared, effectively took heatstroke prevention and cooling measures, actively responded to high temperature and humidity environments, and ensured the safe and stable production of the unit during the Summer Peak.

Strengthen safety management. The project solidly conducted temperature measurement and inspection of important equipment in key areas, strictly implemented the "two tickets and three systems", increased equipment patrol inspection and defect handling efforts, strengthened equipment defects and hidden danger management, conducted early inspection and elimination of refrigeration equipment such as electronic rooms and distribution room air conditioners, and effectively achieved early inspection, detection, and treatment, ensuring that the equipment is "cool" during the summer.

Enhance safety awareness. On July 16, the project organized on-site personnel to take physical health checks. The health check provided the project and employees with a deep understanding of their own health status, and provided a reference basis for reasonable arrangement and implementation of production work.

Conduct training exercises. In response to the actual situation of high temperatures and emergency work in summer, the project actively organized and carried out heatstroke prevention and cooling, first aid knowledge publicity and education, and emergency drills, and also adjusted the indoor and outdoor time of operators according to the temperature situation, ensured the supply of heatstroke prevention drugs, further enriched employees’ heatstroke prevention and cooling awareness, improved all employees’ heatstroke prevention and cooling emergency capabilities, and comprehensively guaranteed the safety of personnel during the Summer Peak.

Next, the project will strictly implement safety production responsibilities, actively implement various guarantee measures, and make every effort to do a good job in Summer Peak and ensuring power generation.
