DCS Power Reception for Guangdong Zhanjiang Commissioning Project was Successful on the First Attempt

At 12:10 on the morning of January 18th, the DCS power reception of Huafeng Weiye Company's Guangdong Zhanjiang Commissioning Project was successful on the first attempt, marking the smooth completion of the project's first significant milestone.

Guangdong Zhanjiang Jingxin Donghai Power Plant is located on the north coast of Donghai Island in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. It includes two 600-megawatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired units, along with desulfurization and denitrification facilities. As a key construction project in the 13th Five-Year Plan for energy development in Guangdong Province, once completed and operational, the plant is expected to generate an annual output of 9.966 billion kilowatt-hours. This project holds significant importance in driving local economic development and advancing the urban construction in Zhanjiang, Guangdong. Huafeng Weiye Company is responsible for the electrical parameter calculations, subsystem commissioning, overall startup commissioning, and performance testing for this project.

To ensure the smooth progress of the DCS power reception work, the project has scientifically planned and meticulously organized the process. They prepared construction plans in advance and had thermal control technical personnel conduct detailed inspections and briefings on the power reception conditions, risk analysis, and safety measures in areas such as the DCS common electronic room, the turbine and boiler electro-mechanical room for Unit 2, and the engineer station. They made a concerted effort to guarantee the insulation qualification of the system cabinets, and all preparations such as grounding and power supply met the standards. With close coordination and joint efforts from various teams, the engineer station computer software returned to normal, communication between the DCS system and control cabinets was restored, and all indicators met the requirements. The project successfully completed the DCS power reception work seven days ahead of the planned schedule.

The successful completion of this DCS power reception sets favorable conditions for the orderly progression of subsequent tasks, including providing power to the entire plant and conducting unit commissioning.
