Company has Officially Taken Over the Production, Maintenance And Operation of the Guangdong Yunfu Power Plant (Plant B)

At 10:00 AM on January 3, 2024, the handover ceremony for the operations of Guangdong Yunfu Power Plant (Plant B) was grandly held. In the presence of leaders from Yunfu City Yunda Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, representatives from the Company, Yunfu Power Plant (Plant B) Co.,Ltd, and Guangdong Yuedian Yunhe Power Generation Company jointly signed the handover document for production, operation, and maintenance. This marks the official takeover of the production and operation of the power plant by the Company.

At the ceremony, Mr. Zhan Zhanlin, General Manager of Yunda Company and Chairman of Yunfu Power Plant (Plant B) Co., Ltd, delivered a speech. He congratulated the smooth handover of the production and operation of the power plant, expressing appreciation for the collaborative efforts of all parties during the handover period. He hoped that the project’s operation and maintenance team, in close cooperation with all parties, would fully leverage their abundant operational achievements and outstanding professional capabilities. With a high sense of responsibility and dedication, he encouraged them to meticulously carry out the production and operation tasks, ensuring the safe production and stable operation of the units.

In their statement, representatives from the Company’s project operation and maintenance team expressed gratitude for the owner’s trust and recognition, as well as the support and collaboration from all parties. They assured that the project operation and maintenance team is fully prepared to take over the production and operation of the units. They pledged to act with knowledge and diligence, building upon past achievements, and strictly adhering to the regulations and requirements of the owner's company. The team promised to organize operations meticulously, deploying their expertise to ensure the successful production and operation of the project units. They committed to contributing wisdom and effort actively towards the safety, quality, and efficiency enhancement initiatives of Yunfu Power Plant (Plant B).

The Guangdong Yunfu Power Plant (Plant B) is located in the Yuncheng District of Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, equipped with two 135MW steam turbine generators. It stands as a significant power energy enterprise in the Yunfu region and even the western part of Guangdong. On September 5, 2023, the Company successfully won the bid for the production and operation project of the plant. The contract for production, operation, and maintenance services was signed on September 20th, covering the management of production, operation and maintenance for two 135MW coal-fired power generation units and their associated facilities. The contract encompasses operational management, performance management, safety management, fuel management, and maintenance and overhaul management.

After the signing of the contract, the Company swiftly mobilized its advantageous resources to form a project operation and maintenance technical team. The company devised and implemented detailed plans for phased personnel training and unit production handover. Meeting high standards, the company completed preparation tasks such as personnel preparation, technical training, and document handover on time, earning high recognition from the owner and Guangdong Yuedian Yunhe Power Generation Company. Eventually, the company successfully took over the production, operation and maintenance of the power plant smoothly in accordance with the contractually agreed-upon timeline. Moving forward, the Company will continue to uphold the work style of “high, strict, detailed,practical”. The company will organize the project operation and maintenance team to strictly adhere to the management requirements of the owner company, continuously strengthen project management foundations, enhance project execution control, and devote full efforts to ensure the stable, safe, and efficient production of the power plant. The company aims to facilitate high-quality and efficient performance of the project, contributing to regional economic development and energy supply. Simultaneously, it seeks to further enhance the company’s operation and maintenance brand influence in the domestic market.

Since the mid-year work conference in 2023, the Company has closely aligned its efforts with the decisions and deployments of the company's party committee regarding reform and development. Firmly adhering to and implementing the spirit of the mid-year work conference, the company has positioned itself for development, initiated reforms to enhance vitality, and formulated and implemented a work strategy of “strengthening management, reducing risks, ensuring performance, improving quality and efficiency”. These initiatives aim to propel continuous achievements in operational development and market expansion. The company has successfully secured various projects, including the Rizhao Shangang 2×350MW Self-Owned Power Plant O&M Project, Iraq Salah Al-din O&M Project, Guangdong Yunfu Power Plant (Plant B) O&M Project, Malaysia Sabah Kibing Self-Owned Power Plant O&M Project, Aksai Kazakh Autonomous County Huidong New Energy Tower 110MW CSP Commissioning Project, Philippines San Marcelino & Lal-lo Solar PV O&M Project, Zhanjiang Jingxin Donghai 2×600MW Performance Test Project, among others. The company has successfully expanded into new markets in the Philippines and Malaysia, and has made progress in the field of internal combustion engine unit maintenance.
