Company conducted the “First Lesson” activity for the commencement of safety production in 2024

To implement the parent company’s decisions and arrangements regarding safety production, and strengthen the implementation of the main responsibility for safety production, on February 18th, the Company organized the “First Lesson” activity for the commencement of safety production in 2024. The activity was conducted with a lecture by Wang Jian, the general manager of the Company, and was attended by members of the the leadership team as well as heads of various departments.
The objective of this activity is to strengthen the main responsibility for safety production and the “first person in charge” responsibility. It aims to firmly establish the idea that “the first thing to do when starting work is to emphasize safety and focus on safety”. The activity educates and mobilizes all employees to effectively overcome complacency and paralysis, enhance safety awareness, quickly transition into work mode, and rigorously prevent various types of production safety accidents.
Wang Jian pointed out that in the year 2024, the Company’s safety production work should closely revolve around the parent company’s strategic development goals and safety production deployment. It is essential to always maintain a bottom-line thinking regarding safety production, comprehensively implement the main responsibility for safety production, and further promote the construction of the safety production governance system. This ensures a strong start and steady progress in safety production work for 2024, making every effort to guarantee continuous and stable safety production.
The work should focus on “identifying issues, eliminating hidden dangers, and preventing accidents” as the main line, further strengthening the effectiveness of the “four responsibility systems”. From start to finish, tighten the safety production responsibility chain for all employees, adhere to the work philosophy of “identifying risks, fulfilling commitments, strengthening management, and improving quality and efficiency”, and continuously enhance emergency management capabilities. This is to ensure the safe production, stable operation, and reliable supply of electricity.
In February 2024, various units and of the Company, including the Electric Engineering Institute, Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project, Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project , Morocco Jerada O&M Project, Pakistan Haveli O&M Project, Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project, and Xuzhou CR O&M project, organized targeted safety production “first lesson” activities based on the operational status of project equipment and facilities, as well as the key safety risk prevention focus after the Spring Festival, both domestically and abroad. The heads of each unit personally organized and conducted the lectures, strictly implementing the requirement to cover all employees. They explained the arrangement and deployment of safety production work in their respective units, clarified existing safety risks and corresponding prevention and control measures, highlighted outstanding issues and key risk control points in safety production work, as well as high-risk operational and maintenance activities. They also emphasized accident prevention measures. Simultaneously, leaders of each unit made post-holiday safety production work requirements, urging the adoption of the concept that “hidden dangers are accidents”. They emphasized tightening and solidifying responsibilities on all fronts, conducting in-depth inspections and rectification of risk hazards, and making concerted and effective efforts to ensure the successful implementation of various safety production tasks. This solid foundation is intended to facilitate the orderly resumption of work and production for all projects after the Spring Festival.
Next, the Company will rigorously implement the spirit and deployment of the parent company’s 2024 safety production work conference. We will effectively conduct special inspections and rectification of major accident hazards, continuously enhance the level of safety production management, and ensure the smooth and orderly progress of safety production work after the holiday period. This effort aims to contribute the strength of the company to support the parent company’s high-quality development.
