Company held a thematic work conference in 2024

From January 29th to 31st, the Company organized thematic meetings on safety production technology, marketing, and management. The meetings were chaired by Wang Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Company. Members of the leadership team, senior management personnel, department heads of the headquarter, leaders of regional headquarters, specialised companies, projects, and relevant departments participated in the meetings through a combination of on-site and video attendance.

 

The meeting revolved around aspects such as safety production, technical management, marketing, management, and human resources management. It comprehensively summarized the completion of work in 2023, analyzed and discussed the experiences gained from the work in 2023, and systematically deployed key work tasks for 2024. During this period, representatives from the headquarter, regional headquarters, specialised companies, and relevant projects of the Company focused on topics such as commissioning management, project operation experiences, maintenance experiences, technical supervision, localization of personnel, talent development and training, marketing, and management. They engaged in exchanges, discussions, and collaborative efforts to build outcomes, laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of various tasks in 2024.

 

During the meetings, Peng Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, delivered a report titled Positioning for Development, Reforming for Activation, Promoting High-quality Development and Achieving New Breakthroughs Through Reform and Overcoming Difficulties”. The report comprehensively summarized the work of the Company in 2023, deeply analyzed the current situation and existing problems, systematically deployed the train of thought and key tasks for work in 2024, and made specific requirements for the work in 2024:

 

Firstly, deepen the leadership of Party building and shoulder political responsibilities. Establish and improve a long-term mechanism for thematic education, strengthen grassroots party branches, and turn them into strong bastions that promote the implementation of decisions and deployments by the company's party committee and promote high-quality and efficient development.

 

Secondly, strengthen strategic thinking and promote reform and overcoming difficulties. Adhere to the work train of thought of “risk reduction, contract fulfillment, strengthened management, improved quality and efficiency”, improve the pattern of “overseas regional management, domestic specialized development”, strengthen the construction of performance evaluation system, promote the transformation of development mode from “scale-oriented” to “quality and efficiency-oriented”, and promote steady improvement in the quality of company development.

 

Thirdly, innovate development models and enhance management level. Continuously enhance the capability of resource allocation, build a core team through talent pool construction, strengthen the company brand through knowledge base construction, optimize resource allocation through resource pool construction, integrate high-quality resources internally and externally, and promote the transformation of development mode from "scale-oriented" to "quality and efficiency-oriented".

 

Fourthly, Seize market opportunities and enhance marketing synergy. Adhere to the strategy of coordinated development of “developing a strong presence in the international market and strengthening our position in the domestic market”, conduct rigorous market research and analysis, adhere to the principles of  “three don'ts” and “three not sign”, rely on “commissioning and O&M integration” to accelerate the horizontal expansion of business structure and vertical extension of industrial structure, continuously improve business industrial chain, expand business scope, and achieve steady growth in company business.

 

Fifthly, deepen management and control and promote cost reduction and efficiency increase. Focus on the deployment of various work tasks in the “Operational Control Year”, focus on key tasks such as strategic guidance, internal control management, operation efficiency improvement, risk prevention and control, and team building, focus on project operation risk control, optimize the construction of management and control system, adhere to strengthening project operation planning and comprehensive budget management, and fully improve the quality and efficiency of management and control, and continuously improve revenue and efficiency.

 

Sixthly, strengthen team building and enhance comprehensive quality. Persistently promote the construction of commissioning and operation professional teams, accelerate the training of professionals in new energy, focus on improving the incentive mechanism for foreign employees, actively implement the professional training of foreign employees, and provide solid talent guarantee for the company's development.

 

Seventhly, it’s important to highlight technological leadership and build a technological brand. Establishing a sound mechanism for applying feedback from experience, continuously strengthening key technology breakthroughs in bottleneck areas, enhancing research accumulation in solar thermal transportation technology, increasing efforts to cultivate independent intellectual property rights, promoting multidimensional transformation and application of technological achievements, facilitating the institutionalization and standardization of scientific project management, and further enhancing the development advantage of “integrated commissioning and O&M services”.

 

Eighthly, implement projects solidly and improve performance quality. Deepen the concept of “operation is the core, fulfillment is the key, safety is the prerequisite, and risk control is the guarantee”, improve the construction of compliance management system, strengthen safety risk control and hidden danger governance, strengthen refined process control, and further improve project performance quality.

 

Next, the Company will conscientiously implement the spirit of the parent company's 2024 work conference, take the “14th Five-Year Plan” strategic planning as the guide, closely follow the pace of the parent company’s “third entrepreneurship” reform, innovate development models, deepen reform and overcoming difficulties, firmly ensure safety production, vigorously expand the market, strengthen innovation-driven development, solidly carry out “risk reduction, contract fulfillment, strengthened management, improved quality and efficiency”, continuously strengthen and optimize the development advantages of “integrated commissioning and O&M services", and make efforts to promote new breakthroughs in various work in 2024, supporting the parent company’s steady and far-reaching high-quality development.
