Company Signs Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair Operational Guidance Project

On April 28th, the Company successfully signed the operational guidance contract for the Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair for the year 2024-2025 at the headquarters of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 

The Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair Project has a total installed capacity of 3041MW, comprising 12 gas turbines and 5 steam turbine generators. It is one of the largest combined cycle power plant projects in the world in terms of operational scale and is also one of the largest and most internationally advanced EPCO power plant projects undertaken by the company overseas. Since 2013, the Company has been involved in commissioning, trial operation, and temporary operation and maintenance of the project. Since 2016, it has been responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the plant. Over the past 8 years, the project operation and maintenance team of the Company has consistently adhered to the working style of “Responsible, Active, Innovative”. They have devoted themselves to the operation and maintenance of the power plant, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the units. They have repeatedly surpassed the highest load and water production records of the power plant, completed the annual power generation tasks ahead of schedule for 8 consecutive years, and achieved high standards in SWCC's annual performance assessment. All KPI indicators have ranked at the forefront among all SWCC projects, with a cumulative electricity generation of 151.9 billion kWh.

 

The successful signing of this operational guidance contract fully demonstrates the owner's recognition and trust in the project operation and maintenance team of the Company. Moving forward, the project will continue to strengthen project execution and control in accordance with the Company's “Management Improvement Year” deployment. We will spare no effort in providing production and operation guidance for project equipment, promoting high-quality and efficient project performance, and further enhancing the brand visibility and influence of the Company in the Middle East region.
