2024-05-13
To further enhance the safety awareness and first aid skills of the project staff, on May 11th, the Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project invited local medical professionals to conduct trauma first aid training. All staff of the project and representatives from the owner attended the training.
This training mainly covered theoretical knowledge and practical skills in trauma first aid, focusing on four aspects: hemostasis techniques, wound dressing procedures, temporary fixation of fractures, and techniques to prevent secondary injuries during patient transportation. Detailed explanations and training were provided on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), artificial respiration, principles of emergency care for accidental injuries, and operational methods for special casualties. Subsequently, medical professionals addressed questions raised by the project staff, further equipping them with knowledge of on-site emergency rescue and correct procedures. Finally, a regular assistance mechanism was established between the project and local clinics, providing strong medical support for the project.
This training session enabled the project staff to further grasp the basic knowledge and operational skills of trauma first aid, effectively enhancing their ability to respond to emergencies and accidents, and to provide emergency rescue and mutual assistance. Moving forward, the project will continue to strengthen safety education and training efforts to effectively safeguard the safety and health of its employees.
