Company Conducts In-Depth 2024 Autumn Safety Inspection Campaign
2024-12-25
To further strengthen on-site safety management and prevent various safety incidents, from September 15 to 19, the Company's regional offices, specialized companies, and projects held kickoff meetings for the 2024 Autumn Safety Inspection.
From September 15 to 19, the Company's regional offices, specialized companies, and projects, in line with the requirements of the Autumn Safety Inspection campaign, established leadership teams for the inspections, led by the primary safety officers. During the kickoff meetings, each project department, considering the safety characteristics of the autumn and winter seasons, proactively planned and carefully prepared for key periods, critical areas, and essential stages. They fully deployed the major tasks for the Autumn Safety Inspection, formulating practical implementation plans, setting clear goals, and identifying key tasks, laying a solid foundation for the smooth execution of the upcoming "Autumn Inspection" work.
During the campaign, the Company's New Energy Company, as well as the overseas units such as the Saudi Arabia Yanbu Phase III O&M Project, Iraq Salah Al-Din O&M Project, Iraq Garraf O&M Project, Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project, and Xuzhou CR O&M Project, organized targeted Autumn Safety Inspection activities in line with their operational realities and specific safety risks. Each unit, following the deployment of the "Autumn Inspection" plan, implemented the principle of “equal responsibility for Party and government, dual responsibility for each position, and accountability for negligence". They carried out in-depth special actions to combat the “three violations” in power safety production. Focusing on key inspection areas and seasonal risk characteristics, they developed checklists to systematically advance inspections on equipment and facility safety hazards, hazardous chemicals, high-risk operations, and fire safety issues.
Each unit adhered to the principle of “inspection and rectification in parallel”, ensuring that inspection items and rectification responsibilities were detailed and assigned to each stage and position. Issues identified during inspections were rectified immediately, and for those that could not be addressed immediately, practical preventive measures and rectification plans were developed with set deadlines. This approach ensured that no blind spots or gaps were left unaddressed, effectively maintaining a stable safety production environment at project sites during the upcoming "Double Festivals".
In the next phase, the Company will use the "Autumn Inspection" campaign as an opportunity to continue conducting in-depth safety hazard investigations and rectifications. By enforcing strict and meticulous safety management on-site, they will ensure all hazards are thoroughly identified, addressed with appropriate measures, and completely rectified. This will drive continuous improvement in the safety management standards across all units and ensure the effectiveness of the Autumn Safety Inspection campaign.
