Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project officially started the minor overhaul

With the approval of the Myanmar Ministry of Electric Power, the Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project officially started the minor overhaul.
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the overhaul, on September 19, the project organised and held the mobilisation training meeting, the project leaders, HSE department and all the staff of the technical department participated in the meeting. Together they carried out the detailed deployment of the unit repair work, and set up a leading group of unit overhaul with the project manager, Sun Jianhua, as the leader. The leading group is comprised of three subgroups of technical supervision, quality supervision, and safety supervision, which is responsible for the management and supervision of all the work of the unit repair.
The unit overhaul work will last for 15 days, involving 261 items of 55 systems in three specializations. Before the start of work, the project organised a safety and technology briefing. In the briefing, the HSE department and technical department made detailed instructions on safety, technology, quality standards, and further clarified divisions of work at all levels, thus laying a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the overhaul .
Next, the project will focus on the three aspects of "safety, quality and progress" in strict accordance with the safety management regulations for unit overhaul standards. At the same time, the project will strengthen the process management, make great efforts in carrying out the unit overhaul work, so as to consolidate the foundation for the safe and stable operation of power plant in the future.
