Huafeng Weiye Company Signs O&M Contract of SS Power I&II Coal Fired Supercritical Power Plant Project


  On April 10th, 2017, the O&M contract of the Bangladesh S. Alam SS Power I&II Coal Fired Supercritical Power Plant project was signed at Beijing Hotel. Mr. Shi Huaiwei, Vice President of Huafeng Weiye Company, and Mr. Alam, President of the owner company, attended the signing ceremony and signed the contract.
  After the ceremony, the two sides deeply communicated with each other. Mr. Alam expressed great expectation to the O&M works of the power plant and Mr. Shi said that the company will insure the safe, steady and efficient operation and maintenance works of the power plant with our professional O&M team, efficient management team and scientific management system.
  As the thermal unit with the largest unit capacity and the coal fired power plant with largest capacity, the power plant locates at Chittagong with two sets of 660MW supercritical unit. The coal is imported. The coal unloading wharf is newly constructed. The power plant uses seawater cooling system and seawater desulfurization technology and the main equipment are all made in China. According to the contract, the joint venture company set up by Huafeng Weiye Company and the subsidiary of S. Alam Group is responsible for the O&M works.
  As an important project of building the economic corridor of Bangladesh, China, India and Myanmar, operating the project will greatly ease the local power utilization pressure and promote the local economic and social development. Signing the contract means that the company achieved another great success on developing overseas power O&M market and further strengthened the company’s influence in Asian power market.
