On December 8, 2022, Huafeng Weiye Company signed the O&M guidance and training contract of 160MW solar PV power plants in the middle part of Myanmar with Hytrust Energy (Singapore) Investment Pte. Ltd.
The project includes 5 solar PV projects, and they are Satoketayar, Kyeeonkyeewa, Shwekyin, Sedawgyi and Kindar. The total installed capacity is 160MW, and it is the largest new energy project in Myanmar and the first solar PV project invested and constructed by Power China overseas. The project is located in Mandalay, Magway and Bago provinces in the middle part of Myanmar, and is located in the interconnection area of the Bangladesh China India Myanmar Economic Corridor, which is highly consistent with the Belt and Road Initiative and helps to achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality". After completion, the project will be directly connected to Myanmar's national grid, becoming the largest new energy power generation project group in Myanmar, which will effectively improve the current situation of power shortage in Myanmar and play an important role in promoting local economic development.
As the third project of Huafeng Weiye Company in Myanmar's electric power O&M market after Thaketa Project and Kyaukpyu Project, the successful signing of the contract is of great significance for further enhancing the company's O&M brand regional influence.
