SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project organizes firefighting emergency drill

In order to further enhance the fire prevention awareness and self-rescue ability of on-site employees, and improve the emergency firefighting cooperation ability of various departments, at 4:00 on August 13, 2022, SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project conducted a fire emergency drill in the fuel tank area.
The drill simulated a fire in the 1# fuel tank in the fuel tank area. From the discovery of the fire, timely reporting, closing the road section, opening the tank rain cooling system, and extinguishing the fire with foam water cannons, the participants performed their respective duties calmly, closely cooperated with each other, after half an hour of hard work and effective disposal, the fire alarm was lifted. The drill was conducted in an orderly manner, and all departments cooperated closely, which achieved the expected effect.
Through the fire emergency drill, the reliability of the fire protection system has been tested, the familiarity of the on-site staff with the firefighting equipment and firefighting system has been deepened, and the emergency response ability and response ability of the on-site staff in the face of a fire in the oil tank farm have been further improved, which laid a solid foundation for the fire safety and security work of the whole plant during the summer peak.
