SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project organizes mobilization meeting for 2022 Summer Peak

In order to ensure the smooth development of works during Ramadan and the 2022 Summer Peak, effectively improve the reliability of the operating units, ensure the safe and stable production of the project, prevent the occurrence of unsafe incidents, and complete the power generation and gas supply tasks of the 2022 Summer Peak with quality and quantity, at 9:00 on April 30, 2022, the SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project organized the 2022 Summer Peak mobilization meeting. The project leaders, department managers and management personnel attended the meeting.
The primary goal of the Summer Peak in 2022 is to complete the annual power supply and steam supply tasks in accordance with the safety production requirements in the summer of 2022. The project required all management personnel to have a unified understanding, clarify the purpose, and ensure implementation under the premise of "safeguarding personal and equipment".
The project departments formulated and compiled the 2022 Summer Peak Supply Guarantee Plan before the meeting according to the specific requirements of the project, and the department managers read out the plans on the meeting.
Combining with the experience summed up in the process of Summer Peak over the years, the project emphasized ten points from two aspects, which are easy to cause unsafe behavior of people and unsafe state of things in high temperature environment, and required department managers to clarify the characteristics of summer, understand the impact of high temperature environment on safe and stable production order, and according to the seasonal characteristics of high temperature period, timely adjust the focus of work, formulate preventive measures and plans, and implement the process to individual, and supervise to ensure that the plans and measures could be successfully completed and achieve the expected results.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Wu Haifeng, the deputy manager of the project, emphasized that the Ras Al Khair O&M Project is the largest power plant and desalination plant in production by SWCC, which undertakes the important task of directly supplying water to the capital, Riyadh, so it will be of great significance to successfully complete the task of power generation and gas supply in 2022 Summer Peak.
He also required that firstly, all the employees of the project should follow the epidemic prevention requirements, insist on the work standard of "safety first", and strive to achieve new achievements in long-term stable operation.
Secondly, the personnel of all departments should fully consider the characteristics of high temperature in Saudi Arabia in summer, and combine the work experience of previous years to carry out key deployment and inspection of personnel and equipment, to ensure the safety and stability of personnel and equipment, and to ensure the smooth completion of the Summer Peak, and submit a satisfactory answer sheet to the owner and the headquarters.
