SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project organizes special training

In order to strengthen the theoretical knowledge and practical ability of O&M personnel, and improve the comprehensive ability of project employees, SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project held a special training on the maintenance, overhaul and acceptance of thermal pressure vessels combining with the actual operation of the power plant.
On October 29, 2021, Mr. Zhong Miaoqi, the mechanical manager of the O&M project, held the first class. After his careful preparation and explanation, all the trainees got a specific understanding of the defect treatment methods of pressure vessels such as waste heat boilers and deaerators, and had a deeper understanding of the important and difficult tasks of maintenance, overhaul and acceptance of thermal pressure vessels.
In order to achieve the expected results of the training, the O&M team first analyzed and sorted out the models, materials, manufacturers, operating years and operating conditions of the main thermal pressure vessels on site, and compiled training materials suitable for the Middle East based on the NBIC standards. At the same time, in accordance with the strategic policy made by the headquarters of Huafeng Weiye Company, the team actively carried out various training activities and continuously promoted the construction of the iron army team.
The training strengthened the theoretical knowledge and practical ability of the O&M personnel and the backbone technical force in maintenance, overhaul and acceptance of thermal pressure vessels, and achieved the purpose of consolidating the theoretical foundation and inheriting the operational skills. Next, the project will continue to carry forward the Iron Army work style, unswervingly promote training and youth construction, and strive to cultivate an iron team familiar with international standards with industry-wide vision.
