Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project completes annual power generation 60 days in advance

Up to 0:00 of November 2, 2021, Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project generated on-grid power energy 728,007.68MWh and completed the 2021 annual power generation task 60 days in advance.

The owner’s chairman made a special trip to the celebration site to express sincere condolences and congratulations to the O&M team. The owner’s chairman stated that the successful completion of the power generation task inseparable from the hard work of the project O&M team, especially in the context of the spread of the epidemic and the political turmoil in Myanmar, so completing the annual power generation task is even more difficult and valuable.
Later, the owner sent two letters in both Chinese and English to the company to appreciate that under the impact of the spread of the local epidemic and the turmoil of the political situation, the project worked together to overcome difficulties, ensure the safe and stable operation of the unit, and completed the annual power generation ahead of schedule, as well as the spirit and ability to fulfill the contract demonstrated during the work.
Since taking over the commercial operation job in 2018, in the face of many unfavorable factors such as the extremely unstable Myanmar power grid, the deterioration of the raw water during the dry season, scheduled shutdowns for maintenance, the spread of the epidemic, and the political turmoil in Myanmar, Huafeng Weiye Company organized the O&M team to carefully operate and maintain to ensure transportation and promote production, complete the annual power generation task on schedule for 4 consecutive years, and repeatedly set new high power generation records. At present, the fourth operation and maintenance settlement annual power generation task of the project is in the sprint stage. The project O&M team will further strengthen and improve internal operation management, pay close attention to on-site safety production and normalize epidemic prevention and control, and strive to create new power generation record.
