Company finishes performance tests for Haixi units

On July 29, 2021, witnessed by the owner, CGDG, the Commissioning and Trial-operation Management Department of the EPC project, the Power Research Center Division of Huafeng Weiye Company, and Haixi O&M Project, the performance tests of Haixi Solar Hybrid and Concentrating Solar Power Plant were finished successfully.
The performance tests covered 8 tests including photoelectric conversion efficiency under design conditions, steam turbine heat consumption THA, generator efficiency ≥98.2%, and heat absorber rated thermal power. In order to ensure the smooth completion of the tests, the operation team carefully studied the test plan and carefully arranged the division of labor during the test period, avoided two risks that may cause the main equipment trip, and ensured the collection of the data during the tests.
The successful completion of the performance tests marked the preliminary conclusion of the testing jobs of Haixi CSP project and laid a solid foundation for the smooth completion and acceptance of the project. Next, the O&M team of the project will continue to carry forward the Iron Army spirit, take safety production as the main goal, and promote the successful completion of the follow-up works of the project.
