SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project organizes firefighting drill with the owner SWCC
In order to further enhance the safety awareness of all staff and improve the fire emergency response capability of the project, at 10:00 on June 16, 2021, the Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project and the owner SWCC jointly carried out a firefighting drill in the oil tank area. The drill simulated that a fire occurred in the No. 2 fuel tank, then the O&M team, the SWCC firefighting team, and the medical team quickly came to the site and handled properly, successfully ensured the safety of on-site equipment and personnel.
All the participants performed their duties in accordance with the drill plan, from turning on the tank rain cooling system, fire water cannons to extinguish the fire, to the SWCC team using fire truck and the medical team rushing to the site for treatment. During the drill, the participants had a clear division of labor, and all were skilled in operation, worked in unity and cooperation, and calmly responded to various emergencies. After half an hour, the fire alarm was successfully lifted.
The drill follows the principle of "promote training by practicing", and comprehensively checked and improved the emergency response capabilities of on-site personnel facing the fire, verified the reliability of the fire protection system, and built firm foundation for the fire safety protection work of the entire plant.
