Great Success of Indonesia PLTU Kaltim-Teluk Project Domestic Training

　　At 17:00 of December 21st, 2014, with the last group of Indonesian trainees passing the security check of Xiamen Airport, the domestic training part of Indonesia PLTU Kaltim-Teluk Balikpapan (2×110MW) O&M Project was successfully finished. The training was from November 8th to December 21st, and there were 42 trainees in four groups participating in the training.

　　The PLTU Kaltim-Teluk Balikpapan (2×110MW) CFB Coal-Fired Power Generation Project locates at Balikpapan, Kaltim-Teluk, Indonesia. The owner is Indonesia State Power Company. SINOHYDRO built the project as the EPC contractor, and Huafeng Weiye Company took over the domestic training, on-site training, O&M manual making and technical guidance for unit trial operation of this project. The domestic training is the first period of work of completing the project for our company. In order to carry out the training better, the leaders of Huafeng Weiye Company planned and arranged carefully; all departments cooperated together; the team for this project prepared detailed; the Administration Department of SEPCOIII and Iraq Project gave hands to us for providing translator; and all these helped us finished the training work including organising training team, making training material and preparing training centre and built firm foundation for doing the training.

　　During the training, there were a lot of difficulties such as urgent time for making training material and starting the training, lack of translator, complex source of trainees, separated coming time of trainees, weak professional basis, knew nothing about CFB, etc., however, with the leadership of Mr. Su Yongde, Project Manager, our training team prepared carefully and worked hard, and did well on all aspects of the training. In the training, the owner visited the training centre; Mr. Li Shanggang, Deputy General Manager of Huafeng Weiye Company, and Mr. Ma Teng, Manager of O&M Department came to the training site twice for guiding the training work; and all these insured the training could be carried out steadily. During the training period, our training team drove for result, worked hard on training management, focused on the quality of training material, strict managed the training process, made evaluation for both trainers and trainees, recorded training log, combined the training with test and examination, insured the training quality, and helped our company won recognition from both SYNOHYDRO and the Indonesian owner.

　　The great success of this training showed the strength of Huafeng Weiye Company and set a good example for the following O&M works. Next, our company is going to prepare the on-site training as per the contract to make the project to be carried out better.
