SA Zawar O&M Project Organizes Competition Activity for Block Supervisor


  In order to meet the requirement of on-site production, combining with the talent strategy of ‘internal training, internal employing’, Huafeng Weiye Company Saudi Arabia Zawar O&M Project organized the internal competition activity for block supervisor on December 28th of 2014, and two persons finally won the posts.
  For better carrying out the activity and increasing the reliability and effectiveness of the competition, the project set up the assessing team and appointed Mr. Zou Zhiyong, Project Manager, as the team leader. The competition insisted in the principle of ‘justices, fair, open’, set up model of block supervisor combining with the reality of the project, made a series of tests including professional theory test, professional practice test,  spoken English test, English written test and interview for selecting the candidates. The interview used semi-structured interview method and combined scenario simulation and stress interview to assess the candidates. The project took the competition as a good chance, perfected the internal talent evaluation and selection system, improved the scientificity and rationality of the human resource allocation of the project, and made the right person into the right post.
  By doing the competition activity, the project built up good competition atmosphere, enhanced the learning awareness of theoretical and practical knowledge as well as English of the staff, which has great significance of improving the O&M level of the project.
