SA Ras Al Khair O&M Team Finished the Annual Power Generation Schedule 68 Days in Advance

Up to 0:00 of October 25th, 2017, the gross generation of SA Ras Al Khair GT Combined Cycle Power Station reaches 17.8 billion KWh, which means that the annual power generation schedule was finished 68 days in advance.
During this year, with the guidance of the company, SA Ras Al Khair O&M Project prepared carefully, overcame the difficulties and work hard on O&M and personnel management to promote the O&M works.
All the staffs insisted in the concept of “operating relying on equipment, maintenance relying on operation, keeping safe relying on details” and the principle of “safety first, prevention first, comprehensive treatment”, strengthened training and supervision management, carried out safety checking and removed the hidden danger, which built firm foundation for finishing the annual power generation schedule.
The project carried out training and competition regularly to improve the O&M staffs’ skills and capabilities and insure the unit safe and steady operation with reliable human resource. The centralized control operators treated several equipment exceptions and improved the synchronized operation and steam supply ability under abnormities and avoided load down operation. At the same time, the project paid attention to abnormity analyzing to summarize experience and avoid similar incident. The operators supervised and checked carefully to insure the qualified unit parameters.
Pay high attention to equipment reliability management with professional skills and careful maintenance. The project set up and used the equipment defect management system in August to eliminate the hidden danger and improve the stability, safety and reliability of the equipment. The project also took special measures to equipment and the maintenance department comprehensively checked and treated the equipment, which improved the unit safe operation a lot.
At present, the whole project is working hard for finishing all the production and operation tasks and realizing the win-win result of economic benefit and social benefit.
