Company Union’s re-election process has been successfully completed

On July 31, the Company Union received the approval from the Laoshan District Federation of Trade Unions regarding the election results of the third Union Committee and the Finance Review Committee, marking the successful completion of the Company Union's leadership transition.
On July 19, the the Company Union held its third Member Representative Conference, which was attended by the company’s Party Secretary and Chairman, Peng Hong, who delivered an important speech. Thirty member representatives participated in the conference. After discussing and approving the suggested list of committee candidates and election methods, the attending representatives voted to elect the members of the third Union Committee and the Finance Review Committee. The third Union Committee is composed of seven members: Ma Shumei, Wei Liqiu, Zhu Rui, Li Ming, Wu Hongmei, Zhang Peng, and Huan Yanguo. The third Finance Review Committee consists of three members: Feng Tao, Sun Leipeng, and Zhao Yuting. Subsequently, the newly elected Union Committee and Finance Review Committee each held their first plenary meetings. Ma Shumei was elected as the Union Chair, and Feng Tao as the Director of the Finance Review Committee. The first plenary meeting of the Union Committee also unanimously approved the formation of the Women's Committee, the Union Labor Law Supervision Committee, and the Union Labor Dispute Mediation Committee.
Subsequently, the newly elected Chair, Comrade Ma Shumei, made a statement: First, she will further enhance her work capabilities and professional skills, strengthen team building, and advance the union's work in depth. Second, she will improve communication and interaction with union members, widely solicit opinions and suggestions, and wholeheartedly work for the benefit and well-being of the employees.
Comrade Peng Hong fully affirmed the various works of the Company Union and set forth requirements for the new Union Committee: First, continuously strengthen team building, improve professional skills, and develop a team of loyal, dedicated, employee-oriented, knowledgeable, and selfless union cadres. Second, align with the company’s goal of high-quality development, build harmonious labor relations, help solve employees' practical problems, gain the utmost trust of the employees, and truly become the "family" for the union members. Third, innovate work methods and approaches, under the dual guidance of the parent company union and the Laoshan District Federation of Trade Unions, adhere to a people-oriented approach, guide employees to continuously enhance their skills, strive to become knowledgeable and innovative workers, and promote a positive interaction between the company's high-quality development and the comprehensive progress of the employees.
Next, the Company Union will focus on uniting employee strength and supporting enterprise development. It will further leverage the role of the union in the company's reform, development, and operations, strengthen organizational building, promote democratic management, safeguard employee rights, and serve the overall work objectives. The union will lead the cadres and employees in solidarity and entrepreneurial efforts, making new contributions to the company's high-quality development.
