Hongtai Plaza Trade Union Federation organized employees to participate in the 2024 Employee Tai Chi Exercise Competition in Laoshan District

On September 27, the 2024 Employee Tai Chi Exercise Competition in Laoshan District, organized by the Laoshan District Federation of Trade Unions, came to a successful conclusion. With strong support from the parent company's trade union, the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union Federation organized 13 employees from its member units to participate in the competition.
The competition featured the basic version of the Tai Chi exercise for employees of Qingdao. A total of 37 teams participated in the group event, while 36 competitors took part in the individual event. During the competition, the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union Federation team demonstrated great unity, calm composure, agility, and skilled Tai Chi techniques. They showcased the essence of Tai Chi’s blend of strength and softness, alternating speed, coiling movements, and continuous flow, earning high praise from the judges. After intense competition, the Hongtai Plaza Trade Union Federation team won second place in the group event, and employee Li Yanfa was awarded third place in the individual event.
After the competition, the employees expressed that the event provided a platform for them to showcase their skills and talents. It also deepened their understanding of the traditional Chinese culture embodied in Tai Chi, improved their overall health, and promoted excellent traditional culture. They also stated that they will continue to actively participate in such employee cultural and sports activities in the future.
