Company has been awarded multiple innovation achievement awards

2024-09-12

In the golden autumn of September, the Company was awarded multiple innovation achievement awards, thanks to its extensive experience and technological leadership in the fields of power plant commissioning, O&M and seawater desalination. This recognition fully reflects the industry's high regard for our capabilities in technological innovation and the application of scientific achievements in power plant commissioning and seawater desalination.

From September 10 to September 11, the 6th Engineering Construction Industry Technology Innovation Conference and the 4th Micro-Innovation Technology Competition Awards Ceremony were held in Wuhan. The event attracted numerous industry experts, scholars, and company representatives to gather and discuss the latest technological innovations in the field of engineering construction. The project, "Application of Electrolytic Chlorine Dioxide Equipment in Power Plant Water Treatment", won third prize in the 4th Micro-Innovation Technology Competition for its innovation and practicality. This award not only highlights our outstanding strength in technological innovation but also lays a strong foundation for the company's future efforts to advance power plant water treatment technology.

As a strong link in the parent company's full EPCO industry chain, the Company has, in recent years, focused on leading with technological innovation. Leveraging the advantages of the full EPCO industry chain and its integrated "commissioning and O&M" technical services, the company has continuously increased its investment in R&D, talent development, and international cooperation in the field of seawater desalination. This has driven the continuous iteration, upgrading, and widespread application of desalination technologies. The award-winning project, "Application of Electrolytic Chlorine Dioxide Equipment in Power Plant Water Treatment", addresses the issue of microbial growth in power plant circulating water systems. By innovating with membrane electrolysis technology, it effectively controls microbial growth in the circulating cooling water system. The successful application of this technology at the Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project ensured the safe and stable operation of the circulating cooling water system, significantly improving the operational efficiency of Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project. Additionally, it greatly reduced operational costs related to chemical consumption, installation, and environmental risks, making a positive contribution to the overall project benefits.

On September 11, the Company received an honorary certificate from the Chemical Technology Committee of the China Electric Power Technology Market Association. The company's paper, "Research and Application of Low-Carbon Technology Solutions for Large-Scale Membrane Seawater Desalination Projects in the Middle East", was awarded second prize at the 2024 (8th) Power Generation Industry Water Treatment Technology Seminar. This further enhanced our technological strength and brand influence in the field of seawater desalination.

In the next step, the Company will continue to uphold the philosophy of innovation-driven and green development, focusing on the transformation of scientific achievements and the cultivation of professional talent. The company will deeply implement its innovation-driven development strategy, accelerate efforts to tackle key core technologies, and continuously strengthen and enhance the influence and competitiveness of its power plant commissioning and O&M technology brand within the industry. This will contribute even more to the high-quality development of the parent company.
