On October 8, Huafeng Weiye Company won the bid for the system commissioning service of the flue gas ultra-low emission retrofit project for Units 6 and 7 at Yunnan Huadian Inspection Company Power Generation Co., Ltd.
The project is located in Xunjiansi Town, in the southwest of Mile City, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a total installed capacity of 2×300MW. This ultra-low emission retrofit includes denitrification, dust removal, and desulfurization upgrades for Units 6 and 7, utilizing technologies such as "low-NOx combustion retrofit + SNCR efficiency enhancement", "high-efficiency power source retrofit", and "reuse of the original absorption tower with the addition of a secondary tray tower". The implementation of this project will aid the power plant in achieving coordinated control of multiple pollutants, promoting a "double reduction" in pollutant emission intensity and carbon emission intensity. It will provide strong support for both economic development and low-carbon environmental protection in the surrounding areas. Huafeng Weiye Company’s successful bid covers the system commissioning work for the denitrification, dust removal, and desulfurization systems after the retrofits.
