At 14:54 on April 28, Unit 1 of the Company's Rizhao Shangang O&M Project was successfully connected to the grid, marking the successful completion of the 28-day C-level overhaul.

This C-level overhaul covered multiple aspects, including technical upgrades and equipment modifications. The project team planned ahead and implemented targeted measures. Prior to the overhaul, the team systematically reviewed equipment defects, potential safety hazards, and key areas under technical supervision. A three-level network schedule was developed to define timelines and clarify responsibilities. During the overhaul, the team faced high-risk scenarios such as working at heights, confined space operations, and overlapping tasks. In response, the overhaul team adhered to the principles of “High Standards, Strict Requirements, Detail Orientation, and Pragmatic Implementation”, conducting comprehensive daily site inspections. They strictly enforced safety measures such as work area isolation and protective enclosures, ensured accountability through dynamic supervision, and took firm action against violations such as improper commands, unsafe operations, and breaches of labor discipline. In addition, the project team strengthened the approval process for high-risk operation permits and leveraged a video surveillance system to monitor key procedures in real time. By addressing safety risks from multiple dimensions—including personnel awareness, policy enforcement, and on-site management—they ensured the overhaul was completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

After the overhaul, the unit's core parameters—such as main steam pressure and reheat steam temperature—exceeded design values, with significant improvements in operational stability and efficiency, providing a solid foundation for safe long-term operation. Moving forward, the project team will continue to follow the work approach of “risk mitigation, contract performance assurance, strengthened management, and quality-efficiency improvement”, by reviewing the overhaul process and incorporating improvements into ongoing operations, continuously optimizing O&M management, and driving high-quality project performance.
