Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project conducts a specialized training on the DCS operating system

2025-03-11

To further enhance the professional technicians' understanding and operational proficiency of the DCS system, the Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project organized a specialized training on the Siemens DCS operating system (SPPA-T3000) on March 11.

With the rapid development of industrial automation technology, the T3000 operating system, as one of the core technologies in industrial control, plays a crucial role in power plant production and operation. This training adopted a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, covering theoretical knowledge of the Siemens SPPA-T3000 operating system, hardware and software operations, and daily maintenance. The instructor, leveraging years of project management experience, systematically explained the fundamental concepts and architecture of the Siemens SPPA-T3000 system through real-world case studies. Additionally, multiple operational demonstrations were conducted to provide trainees with a clear understanding of the overall framework of the DCS system, significantly enhancing the professional technicians' skill levels and practical capabilities within the project.

Next, the project will continue to deepen DCS system training, optimize and refine training mechanisms and programs, and strengthen the development of a skilled O&M workforce. This will provide strong talent support for the project's safe and stable operation, contributing to high-quality project execution.
