Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project Exceeds Annual Power Generation Target

2025-01-03

As of January 1, 2025, the total power generation output of the Myanmar Thaketa O&M Project reached 770,440.99 MWh, exceeding the contract target by 42,000.99 MWh, thus surpassing the annual power generation goal.

In 2024, the Myanmar Thaketa O&M project team diligently implemented the company's "Year of Operational Control" initiative, closely monitoring the annual power generation targets. They continuously strengthened the inspection efforts of the plant units and made full use of downtime to carry out systematic equipment defect rectification and maintenance. By further enhancing on-site security measures and reinforcing safety production responsibilities, the team successfully identified and resolved several defects and hidden dangers that were affecting the healthy operation of the units. This significantly improved the operational efficiency of the entire plant and laid a solid foundation for the A overhaul of the units in 2025.

Next, the project team will continue to uphold the work style of "active, innovative, responsible", while further strengthening internal operational management and enhancing compliance with operational practices. They will focus on the effective management of unit O&M and maintenance, ensuring the long-term safe and stable operation of the project units, and celebrate the parent company’s 40th anniversary with high-quality and efficient contract fulfillment.
