2025-01-07
On January 7th, with the shutdown of the steam turbine turning gear, the overhaul of the units at the Pakistan Heveli O&M Project officially kicked off.
This overhaul, as one of the key tasks for 2025, has a planned duration of 51 days. It focuses on the steam turbine overhaul, with a comprehensive inspection, maintenance, and replacement of equipment such as the steam turbine, gas turbine, and boiler. A total of 388 maintenance tasks are planned, including 307 routine maintenance items and 81 technical supervision items.
To ensure the orderly progress of the overhaul, the project team proactively planned the implementation plan for the maintenance projects. On December 28, 2024, a kick-off meeting was held to fully deploy the overall overhaul work and coordinate the specific projects. Detailed arrangements were made for personnel deployment, task division, and safety measures. Each discipline was required to strictly implement the "two-ticket" management system, work supervision system, and all relevant safety management standards and regulations during the maintenance period. Emphasis was placed on solid monitoring of high-risk operations to ensure the safe and steady progress of the on-site maintenance work at the year-end and the beginning of the year, with the goal of completing the entire plant overhaul on time and with high quality.
Going forward, the project team will continue to implement the principle of "safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management", adhering to the principle of "all necessary repairs must be made, and repairs must be done well". Strict attention will be given to maintenance safety and quality control to lay a solid foundation for the long-term, safe, and efficient operation of the units after the overhaul.
