Shutdown and overhaul work in order at Pakistan Haveli O&M Project

According to the annual unit shutdown and maintenance work plan, the Haveli 1230MW CCPP will carry out shutdown and maintenance work for the two units in rotation. Pakistan Haveli O&M Project and GE will cooperate to complete the maintenance work. On March 1, all maintenance work of GT1 was completed and the unit was started for operation.
Pakistan Haveli 1230MW CCPP is the most advanced 9H gas turbine power plant in the world and one of the largest power plants in Pakistan. As the focus of the annual plan, the maintenance work mainly includes the inspection of the GT1/GT2 combustion chamber, the vibration treatment of the GT2 generator, various preventive maintenance work and equipment defect treatment, including the offline maintenance of carbon brushes and the inspection of the generator outgoing equipment, the preventive work of the 500kv Bay-02 primary equipment, the maintenance of the Mark-Vie control system and the inspection of related instruments, the internal inspection of HRSG #2 and the replacement of the filter screen in the intake chamber.
The maintenance work is tight in time, with heavy tasks and many overlapping tasks. In order to ensure the orderly development of various maintenance work, the project arranged and planned in advance, studied and developed the best plan and measures for shutdown maintenance, and refined the maintenance work and responsibilities to each detail and position. During the shutdown and maintenance work, the project supervised the work every day, paid close attention to the work of safety production responsibility, implemented the defect items and handling conditions one by one, actively dispatched various resources, and solved emergencies in a timely manner to provide guarantee for the smooth implementation of the work. Each department actively cooperated with each other, strictly controlled the work ticket safety and maintenance quality, checked the maintenance quality of each system and equipment after the completion of the maintenance one by one, and ensured the smooth start and operation of the two units after the maintenance.

The maintenance of GT1 provides a solid foundation and reliable guarantee for the successful completion of defect elimination and test adjustment of GT2.
