Qilu Petrochemical project of Company successfully completed 72+24 hours of reliable operation

On December 1 at 10:35 AM, Qilu Petrochemical project of the Company successfully completed 72+24 hours of reliable operation. All performance indicators were excellent, and the units operated smoothly, providing favorable assurance for the subsequent handover and formal operation of the units.

The Qilu Petrochemical project is located within the original 1st and 2nd boiler areas of the thermal power plant belonging to Sinopec Qilu Petrochemical Corporation. It includes the construction of two new medium-temperature and medium-pressure gas boilers, as well as the supporting water deoxidation, temperature reduction and pressure reduction devices, and gas pressure regulating equipment. The project utilizes existing facilities such as the power distribution room, electronic room, and steam pipeline. the Company is responsible for the commissioning and performance testing of this project.

From September 13 to November 24, 2023, the project commissioning team, leveraging their exceptional technical capabilities, successively completed critical milestones such as the restoration and commissioning of the DCS system for Boiler 2, and the blowing of pipes for Boiler 1 and Boiler 2. With the full cooperation of the project commissioning team and various collaborating units, the team successfully completed the continuous full-load trial run assessments for the two units, lasting 72 hours and 24 hours, on November 24 at 18:48 and December 1 at 10:35, respectively.

The Qilu Petrochemical project’s 72+24 hours of reliable operation has been successfully completed, showcasing the professional technical capabilities and collaborative spirit of the Company’s commissioning team. This achievement has earned high recognition and praise from the project owner. Next, the Company’s commissioning team will further enhance the project’s production performance capabilities, efficiently advance the subsequent performance testing-related tasks, and aim to deliver a satisfactory outcome to both the company and the project owner.
