Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project conducted a fire emergency drill

In order to enhance the fire safety awareness of all employees in the project, further strengthen the emergency response capabilities of the project to fire incidents, and in conjunction with the deployment of the "Fire Safety Awareness Month" activity, on November 22nd, Saudi Arabia Ras Al Khair O&M Project of the Company, in collaboration with the owner, conducted a fire emergency drill.

This drill simulated a scenario in which a leak occurred at the bottom discharge valve of fuel tank 2 in the fuel tank area, leading to fuel leakage and a subsequent fire. Upon receiving a fire alarm, the fire safety officer promptly reached the external area of fuel tank 2 in the fuel tank area and organized firefighting and rescue efforts. Throughout the drill, the participating personnel carried out their responsibilities, coordinated effectively, and skillfully operated firefighting facilities such as tank body sprinklers and firewater cannons. With the concerted efforts of the firefighting team and other participants, the fire was promptly extinguished, the oil leak point was sealed, and the drill achieved complete success, meeting the expected objectives.

This drill activity assessed the scientific soundness, feasibility, and effectiveness of the project’s firefighting emergency plan, further enhancing the project’s ability to prevent and respond to unforeseen events. Next, the project will closely align with the theme of the "Fire Safety Awareness Month" activity, continuing to carry out in-depth firefighting special rectification activities. This includes strengthening the inspection, identification, and elimination of fire hazards in on-site equipment and facilities. These efforts are aimed at ensuring the safe and stable operation of the unit.
