In order to implement the company’s talent cultivation strategy, accelerate the role of new employees to change, help young employees to grow and become successful, on October 15, Pakistan Haveli O&M Project carried out 2023 mentor-apprentice agreement signing ceremony, the project team, mentors and all new employees participated in the ceremony.

At the meeting, first of all, Song Tongtong, deputy manager of the project, read out the "Mentor and Apprentice Pairing Responsibility Letter", and the person in charge of the administrative department led the participants to study and propagate the company’s "Mentor and Apprentice Management Measures", which clearly defined the purpose of the mentor and apprentice, the duties of the master and the apprentice, and the management rules of the mentor and apprentice. Afterwards, both the mentor and the apprentice signed the agreement, and the representatives of the mentor and the new employee made a statement respectively. Mentors stated that they would seriously fulfil their duties as mentors, and demand from their apprentices to become qualified employees as soon as possible and contribute to the development of the company. The new employees expressed their respect for their mentors and promised to study and work hard in the future, and grow up as soon as possible to meet the needs of the company’s outstanding talents.

At the end of the meeting, Tao Zhangwei, the project manager, combined with his own work experience, put forward the following requirements for mentors and apprentices:

Firstly, the mentor should impart his knowledge and experience unreservedly, guide the apprentice to learn and ask questions diligently in his work, cultivate his ability to analyse and solve problems and innovative thinking, and be responsive to all requests.

Secondly, the apprentice should respect the tutor, be diligent and studious, take the initiative to be responsible, be innovative and dare to take responsibility in the follow-up work and study. In addition, the apprentice should make use of the opportunity of the tutor to take the apprentice, humbly ask the tutor and the masters for advice, make efforts to learn the professional theory and work experience, apply the knowledge and skills learnt into practice.

Thirdly, both mentor and apprentice promote each other, take the initiative to bear, each mentor and apprentice should be based on their own duties, correct the relationship, learn from each other, make progress for each other, and really become a good teacher and a good friend with a harmonious relationship.

Next, the project will strictly implement the mentor-apprentice management approach, follow up the implementation of mentor-apprentice work, to help new employees grow into the company’s high-quality development of the backbone of the company as soon as possible!
