On September 15, 2023, Pakistan Haveli O&M project held the 2023 Autumn Safety Inspection kick-off meeting, which was presided over by project manager Tao Zhangwei, and all departments and professionals in charge of the project department attended the meeting.

First of all, the meeting disseminated the Notice on Autumn Safety Inspection in 2023 published by the company. Each department and professionals in charge clarified the project construction safety management concepts along with related preventive measures, and they also attached great importance to "Autumn Inspection".The project will closely follow the company’s deployment on “Autumn Inspection”, and the tasks related to “Autumn Inspection” will be divided and implemented to each production unit, specialised departments, teams and individuals, to ensure that the “Autumn Inspection” is carried out smoothly.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Tao Zhangwei, the project manager, put forward the following requirements for the “Autumn Inspection”:

First, through this inspection, each department and the personnel in charge should conduct an in-depth search for the hidden safety problems, aiming at finding hidden problems in the following areas: steam system, pumping system, hydrogen system, fans, DC system, important valves etc, and rectify these hidden problems. In addition, timely inspection and acceptance tests of the rectifications of hidden problems should be carried out.

Secondly, it is important to strengthen on-site safety management and effectively implement various risk management and control measures, along with ensuring the execution of safety risk classification and management, and the risk of operational activities is within the controllable range.

Thirdly, all department should hold regular production safety meetings to summarise the problems related to production safety, raise awareness of safety production management, and consolidate the responsibilities of safety production, pay close attention to the implementation of production safety measures, and resolutely eliminate all kinds of production safety accidents.

The project will take this safety inspection as an opportunity to strictly consolidate responsibilities related to production safety, and effectively strengthen safety training and emergency drills, to ensure the practical outcomes of “Autumn Inspection”.
