With the continuous rise of temperature in Summer Peak, the demand for electric power has been increasing. Qinghai Gonghe CSP O&M Project took multiple and effective measures to do a good job in Summer Peak, in order to ensure the stability of various equipment and parameters and improve the health level of equipment under high temperature.

Improve organizational mechanisms. The project is located in Tara Beach, which has long sunshine hours, strong ultraviolet radiation, and high altitude. Every summer, there are one or two weeks of noon when the ambient temperature can reach around 30 ℃, which poses certain operational risks for equipment that operates in low ambient temperatures all year round. In order to fully ensure the safe and stable operation of the unit, the project established a leadership group for Summer Peak, compacted safety production responsibilities, clarified work objectives and departmental responsibilities, refined and decomposed production tasks, established a hidden danger management network, and strengthened the safety production defense line for power generation in summer.

Strictly adhere to the safety defense line. Since the Summer Peak, the project has been experiencing frequent adverse weather such as strong winds and precipitation, accompanied by a gradual increase in temperature. The project formulated the heatstroke emergency plan and fire emergency plan, actively organized heatstroke emergency treatment training and fire emergency drill activities, tried to reduce or avoid major operations at the production site during the high temperature period, further improved the resilience of project employees to deal with emergencies and accidental injuries and improve the source to ensure the health and life safety of employees.

Strengthen control measures. The project strictly adheres to internal management, clarifies work responsibilities, strengthened the safety production awareness of personnel at all levels, closely tracked the trend of weather changes, and analyzed and reported abnormal parameters as soon as possible based on defect management. In addition, the project focused on the hot spots of rotating machinery, conducted inspections on the environmental temperature and air conditioning operation of the electrical distribution room and DCS electronic room, formulated emergency response cards for high and low temperature molten salt tank leakage, molten salt pipeline and valve leakage, set up key control areas for molten salt leakage, and set up warning signs, and also assigned personnel to inspect key control areas to ensure the safety and reliability of operating equipment, which consolidated the safety foundation for Summer Peak.

All personnel of the project have been always adhering to and carrying forward the Iron Army work style, optimize project management, consolidate the quality foundation, effectively carry out equipment O&M jobs, and make every effort to ensure the safe and stable operation of the unit during the Summer Peak, striving to achieve the annual production target as soon as possible.
