Company Organises the launch meeting for the “2024 Management Enhancement Year” theme event

On the afternoon of March 6th, the Company organized the launch meeting for the “2024 Management Enhancement Year” theme event. The meeting was presided over by Wang Jian, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Company. More than 90 participants, including members of the leadership team, various departments at the headquarter, regional headquarters, specialised companies, and key personnel from directly-managed projects, attended the meeting through a combination of on-site and video participation.

 

The purpose of this meeting is to further implement the spirit of the POWERCHINA and the parent company’s 2024 work conference, carry out the requirements of the the parent company's documents such as the decision on the “Operational Control Year” campaign and the “2024 Quality Improvement and Efficiency Enhancement Work Plan”. Following the working approach of “Risk Mitigation, Contract Fulfillment, Strengthened Management, and Quality and Efficiency Improvement”, and using the Management Enhancement Year special activity as a platform, the company aims to contribute to achieving higher-quality development.

 

At the meeting, Li Biao, the Director of Management at the Company, announced the decision to designate 2024 as the Management Enhancement Year and disseminated the plan for the “2024 Management Enhancement Year” activity. Focusing on six main themes: Safety Production, Operational Management, Market Development, Comprehensive Management, Team Building, and Party and Mass Work, the comprehensive deployment of the “Six Integration” management enhancement year activity was carried out with the fundamental essence of “Standardization of Safety Production, Lean Management of Operations, High-quality Development of Market, Process-oriented Comprehensive Management, Human-centric Team Building, and Scientific Party Building Work”. Following this, the heads of the Marketing Department, Commercial & Contract Management Department, Production Management Department/Commissioning Center, and HSE Department of the Company each made statements.

 

Peng Hong, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, delivered a motivational speech on the implementation of the company's “Management Enhancement Year” theme activity, outlining seven key requirements:

 

Firstly, uphold the core role of party building leadership, strictly and efficiently implement the resolutions and decisions of the company's Party Committee, and comprehensively fulfill the goals and tasks of various party building activities.

 

Secondly, adhere to the core objective of creating efficiency and increasing profits, exert full efforts to build an integrated marketing system closely aligned with the company's development framework, and advance the implementation of the development strategy in a market-oriented manner.

 

Thirdly, adhere to the bottom line of compliant operations, manage compliance risks effectively in project operations, and establish a robust three-tier responsibility system for ensuring business compliance.

 

Fourthly, continue to deepen the concept that “safety is a prerequisite”, and establish a safety production management operation system based on safety as the foundation, supported by technology, with equipment as the core, and institutional safeguards.

 

Fifthly, emphasize the accumulation of innovative technological research, actively promote technological innovation in the field of new energy, and intensify research and development efforts in the areas of digital empowerment within the new energy solar-thermal sector and specialty aspects within traditional energy.

 

Sixthly, strengthen the supportive role of talent strategy, enhance the capacity building of the cadre team, align the goals of team building with the company's development strategy, and expedite the construction of the human resources pool.

 

Seventhly, establish mechanisms for activity support, assessment, motivation, and feedback, and ensure comprehensive process management. Transform the learning outcomes of this theme activity into new ideas and initiatives for enhancing the company's management capabilities.

 

Finally, Wang Jian, the General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Company, presented specific requirements for the implementation of the conference's spirit:

 

Firstly, conscientiously implement the spirit of this conference, fully comprehend the essence of the Chairman's speech, and ensure effective dissemination. 

 

Secondly, further promote and mobilize, making management enhancement a conscious behavior for all employees, genuinely translating it into action, and ensuring tangible results. 

 

Thirdly, refine measures, break down indicators, conduct self-diagnosis, identify areas for improvement, and take practical steps to solidify and detail the management enhancement efforts. 

 

Fourthly, strengthen activity inspection, supervision, assessment, and management, ensuring a well-planned, goal-oriented, measured, summarized, and improved approach.

 

Next, the Company will use the “Management Enhancement Year” theme activity as an opportunity to effectively advance the overarching goals of “efficient management, safety and stability, significant efficiency improvement, and controllable risks”. The company will strive to propel the parent company towards stable and far-reaching high-quality development.
