To celebrate International Labor Day on May 1st, enrich the cultural life of the project employees, and further promote the concept of “Happy Work, Healthy Life”, from May 1st to 2nd, the Morocco Jerada O&M Project organized a series of sports activities for both local and foreign employees to celebrate "May Day".

On the afternoon of May 1st, the project held a "100-meter relay race" to showcase teamwork and individual striving spirit. During the competition, team members eagerly awaited their turns, brimming with determination. The first leg runner was poised and ready, awaiting only the referee's signal. With the sound of the starting gun, they sprang into action, accelerating forward like arrows released from a drawn bow. At each baton exchange, every second was fiercely contested, with the relay of not only sweat and effort but also bonds of friendship and trust among teammates.

On the afternoon of May 2nd, the project held a seven-a-side football friendly match at the Jerada City Stadium. Four teams, each composed of both local and foreign employees, participated in the event. The teams were randomly grouped through a draw, resulting in head-to-head matchups. With the referee's whistle, the matches officially commenced! Amidst cheers and shouts, players from both sides quickly got into the rhythm of the game, displaying seamless coordination in their attacks and defenses. Each tackle, each leap, each fall followed by a rise, embodied the spirit of Jerada – daring to fight, never giving up.

When players exhibited remarkable performances or made mistakes, the audience responded with enthusiastic applause to cheer and encourage them, creating a vibrant atmosphere at the venue. After two hours of intense competition spanning four rounds, the Operations Department team emerged as the champions. The football match concluded on a high note with laughter and cheers all around.

By organizing this sports event, we further demonstrated the spirit of unity, hard work, and progress among both local and foreign employees in the project. It has ignited the enthusiasm and passion of all staff members, paving the way for the smooth progress of various tasks in the subsequent project phases.
