Pakistan Haveli O&M Project Held Occupational Disease Prevention Law Publicity Week Event

From April 25th to May 1st, 2024, marks the 22nd National Occupational Disease Prevention Law Publicity Week. To extensively promote and implement the Occupational Disease Prevention Law, and further promote the implementation of the occupational disease prevention and control responsibilities within the project, as well as enhance employees' self-protection awareness and capabilities, on April 25th, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project organized “Prevention as the Primary Measure, Safeguarding Occupational Health” themed Occupational Disease Prevention Law publicity week event.
In this event, all personnel of the project participated in a safety oath together and signed commitments on banners, aiming to deepen the awareness of occupational health among project employees, which resulted in a positive publicity effect. Following the signing ceremony, Song Tongtong, the Deputy Manager of the project, combined with the company's 2024 Occupational Disease Prevention Law Publicity Week activities, requested that each department and team within the project disseminate occupational disease prevention and control knowledge through specialized lectures, video explanations, distribution of promotional brochures, and other means, covering responsibilities, occupational hazards, typical cases, as well as prevention and control of occupational diseases.
This event has deeply impressed upon all personnel in the project the importance and necessity of occupational disease prevention and control knowledge, enhancing their awareness of occupational health responsibilities and effectively improving their occupational health management proficiency. Next steps involve the project conducting in-depth occupational health special inspections, comprehensively implementing various tasks such as monitoring and evaluating occupational hazards in workplaces, conducting employee occupational health examinations, strengthening individual protection in hazardous positions, continuously improving occupational hygiene conditions and environments at work sites, and effectively ensuring the life safety and physical health of project employees.
