Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project holds a ceremony to celebrate the first anniversary of its operations and maintenance

On May 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the Myanmar Kyaukpyu O&M Project held a grand ceremony in the central control room to celebrate the first anniversary of its operations and maintenance. The event was attended by Zhu Zhongyi, Deputy General Manager of Kyauk Phyu Electric Power Company Limited, Project Manager Wang Jian, Deputy Project Manager Zhu Yanhua, and heads of various departments.

At the ceremony, Project Manager Wang Jian delivered a speech expressing gratitude for the strong support and trust from the owners, as well as the hard work and dedication of the entire project team over the past year. Wang Jian pointed out that during this year, the O&M team has overcome various difficulties and challenges. Through regular inspections and daily maintenance, they have continuously improved the health of the onsite equipment, significantly reduced the failure rate of the units, and achieved long-term safe and stable operation of the units. This has provided reliable power supply to the local area and effectively alleviated the tight power supply situation in Kyaukpyu, Myanmar.

In his concluding remarks, Zhu Zhongyi highly praised and affirmed the professional skills and efficient operation and maintenance capabilities of the the Company's project O&M team. He stated that over the past year, all members of the O&M team have strictly adhered to the maintenance plan, continuously improved the quality of inspections, and made every effort to ensure the stable operation of the units. Their efforts have made a significant contribution to meeting the growing electricity demands of the local residents in Kyaukpyu, Myanmar.

Finally, all participants on-site held a champagne toast and cake-cutting ceremony and took a group photo to commemorate the occasion. Moving forward, the project will continue to adhere to the work approach of "risk mitigation, performance assurance, strengthened management, and quality and efficiency improvement". They will continuously strengthen the foundation of project management, enhance project execution and control, and strive to excel in subsequent O&M tasks. This will ensure the high-quality and efficient fulfillment of the project, further establish the Company's strong brand image in the Southeast Asian region, and solidify its competitive advantage in the overseas O&M market.
