Pakistan Haveli O&M Project Organised Disaster Risk Reduction Day Publicity Week Activities

To further implement the disaster risk reduction responsibilities of the project and enhance employees' awareness and abilities for self-protection, on May 11th, the Pakistan Haveli O&M Project organized a Disaster Risk Reduction Day publicity week activity under the theme of "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Responds to Emergencies - Focusing on Improving Local Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Capabilities”.

During the promotional activities, Project Manager Tao Zhangwei emphasized the need for all departments and teams within the project to implement the company's plan for the “Disaster Risk Reduction Day” publicity week. He stressed the importance of strengthening disaster prevention and mitigation efforts during on-site risky operations, particularly in high-risk areas such as elevated work, confined spaces, high voltage, flammable zones, lifting and hoisting, hazardous chemicals, oil tank areas, and hydrogen production stations. These efforts aimed to enhance emergency evacuation skills and improve the entire project’s ability to identify hazards in the work environment, manage operational safety measures, and use personal protective equipment effectively, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.

This event further enhanced the safety awareness and emergency self-rescue capabilities of all personnel within the project, achieving a positive publicity outcome. Moving forward, the project will continue to conduct inspections and address hidden risks related to disaster hazards. Targeted measures will be implemented to promptly mitigate the risk of disaster incidents, further fortifying the defenses for safe production.
