Iraq Salah Al-din O&M Project successfully completed the first year of power generation plan 13 days ahead of schedule

On March 8, 2024, at 01:14 local time, the Iraq Salah Al-din 2x630MW O&M Project successfully completed the first year of  power generation tasks. The total grid electricity output reached 8.5576 billion kilowatt-hours, completing the first contractual years power generation task 13 days ahead of schedule. This achievement earned high recognition and approval from the project owner.

 

Since the project's transition to commercial operation on March 22, 2023, the project maintenance and operations team has meticulously planned and carefully arranged activities. Overcoming various adverse factors such as local power grid instability, heavy rainfall in the rainy season, high temperatures in the summer, autumn dust storms, and equipment aging, the team has organized technical breakthroughs, optimized equipment operating procedures, and conducted a series of targeted governance initiatives. They have spared no effort to ensure the safe and stable operation of the units, laying a solid foundation for the project to achieve high-quality and efficient performance.

 

Moving forward, the project will continue to follow the work philosophy of risk mitigation, performance assurance, strong management, and quality improvement”. They will further strengthen and enhance the level of project operational management.
